Ice Your Cooler

We are a permitted kitchen: Keep your community food safe.

When you pack for your trip to BRC - your cooler should be iced. Make sure to keep that cooler iced. Once you arive at BRC, you should still have ice in your cooler!


As a Village of 300 persons we are required to have a Health Permit by the Nevada Health Department, who will visit our village kitchen and make sure that we are adhering to all prescribed food preparation – serving – cleanup requirements.


The Health Department will inspect all coolers stored in the kitchen, and make sure that the contents of said coolers are at proper temperature. Obviously, coolers that have no or limited ice won't be at proper temperature and the contents of any cooler not cooled to proper temperature will be discarded! Keeping our food at proper temperature will help ensure that when you cook your meal it will be safe for consumption.
