The following is how The Twisted Swan handled gray water in 2022. If this method changes, this page will be updated.
Gray water collection services are provided by United Site Services.
The gray water and trash areas are both clearly marked. The collection tank delivery system worked well. We will again look to use the services of United Site Services in 2023 for our Gray Water collection & disposal; it is well worth the cost.
Gray water is defined as water from human activities not including human waste. This includes washing, showers etc.
Black water is defined as water that includes human or other body waste. This includes poop, pee, blood and "other stuff."
At no time will the Swan process black water. Burning Man has provided Porto-Potties for such disposal.
